Volunteer details

Iowa Specialty Hospital is blessed to have many volunteers supporting our organization on a daily basis. We use volunteers at our main entrances greeting and directing visitors. Both campuses have active Auxiliaries that hold fundraisers throughout the year, donating all proceeds to our facilities. Our volunteers donate countless hours in many areas, and they also staff community blood drives. Volunteer placements & services

Working at the Auxiliary Gift Shop in Clarion; Donate personal hygiene supplies (toothpaste, brushes, deodorant, shampoo and soap); Sew pillow cases; Knit baby caps for the newborns; Rake leaves, pick up around the building or plant flowers at the Meadows; Do the nails of Assisted Living residents in Clarion; Share vacation photos, a hobby or an interest at The Meadows Senior Living or Assisted Living in Clarion; Help with special fundraising events; Greet or host at special events
