Corrections

Something wrong on a listing? Telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.

This directory contains thousands of records, many built from older datasets, and details change without anyone telling us. Reports from visitors and from the organisations themselves are the main way errors get found.

What to report

How to report it

Every listing page has a Suggest an Update link. That is the best route, because it tells us which record you mean. Open the listing you want to correct and use the link there.

You do not need an account. The link opens a short form already attached to that listing — tell us what is wrong, and add a link if you have one. An email address is optional and only used if we need to ask you something.

Every correction is reviewed by a person before anything changes. We check a suggested volunteer page ourselves before publishing it, and we never mark a hospital closed on the strength of a broken link.

Find a listing to correct

If your report does not fit a single listing — a duplicate pair, say, or a whole organisation that has closed — contact us instead and describe what is wrong. Please include the name and town of the organisation so we can find the record.

What happens next

Reports are reviewed before anything changes. We may edit a submission for accuracy or clarity, and we may come back to you if something is unclear.

We prioritise factual corrections — a wrong number, a dead link, a closed programme — over requests to make a listing more prominent. See Editorial Policy.

We cannot promise a timescale. This is a small operation, and we would rather say that than imply a service level we do not have.

If you work at the hospital

Corrections from the organisation itself are welcome and are exactly what we want. Please note that submitting a correction does not create a formal relationship between your organisation and this site, and we will not describe your programme as verified on the strength of a form submission alone. Data Sources explains what we do and do not currently confirm.
