The West Hills Hospital and Medical Center volunteers play a key role in our caring healthcare team. Volunteers provide thousands of service hours each year to West Hills Hospital and help support our patient care mission: to care for every patient like our own family. Consider the many ways you can make a difference through volunteering. There is a wide variety of opportunities, from working as a greeter at the information desk to staffing the Gift Shop or assisting with clerical work in various departments. Volunteer programs

Auxiliary Gift Shop Volunteers; Chaplain Volunteers; In-Service Adult & Junior Volunteers; Pet Therapy Volunteers; Regional Occupational Program (ROP) - Coordinated through LAUSD

Application process

All perspective volunteer applicants are asked to attend an info session where they will be given information regarding the program and a volunteer application. Info sessions are held on the First Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm, for one hour, at our offsite location, 7320 Woodlake Ave #120, West Hills. Please RSVP by emailing the Director of Volunteer Services no later than 48 hours before the scheduled info session. We will only be accepting applications for those who attend an info session.
