Aurora West Allis Medical Center is a community-based facility that is part of the Aurora Health Care system. Its volunteers work in 30 different areas of the hospital during shifts of 4 hours per week.Some of their positions have patient contact, such as Discharge Escort or Dietary Menu Distributor. Some assignments call for light clerical work, as in Women's Health Education, Rehab or Radiology. Some jobs are sit-down, the kind you find in Day Surgery or Medical Records. And some positions need a high degree of customer service skills, like Tour Guides or Information Desk Clerks.
