Volunteer details

Every year, nearly 10,000 regular, seasonal and one-time volunteers lend their heart and hands to our work. They serve lunch, provide lemonade or tea, manage our weekday services, support the Center with donations, sing with the choir, dig in the garden, advocate for homelessness issues. Here you may listen to personal stories, give your undivided attention to someone, show respect to those who are often ignored or shunned.
