The Department of Volunteer Services was formally organized in 1954 when the hospital relocated to its present location. Volunteer Services offers daytime, evening and weekend shifts with positions in direct, limited or no patient contact categories.Our volunteers provide service and support in programs throughout the institution and partner with nonprofits and the private sector to increase the impact of MD Anderson in the community.Volunteer Benefits include:Free self-parking,Discounts (bus,Prescription,Hospital Gift Shop and Cafeteria).
