At Union Hospital, our volunteers are an important part of all that we do. All ages - from teens to retirees - participate. Their energy, spirit and special talents help us provide even more personal service to patients. We’re always interested in having new volunteers join our active group. You can give whatever time you have available, full-time or part-time. You can even decide where you want to work in the hospital - or you may prefer to get involved in activities and services throughout the community, like participating in fundraising events. Volunteer placements & services

Clerical: Chart assembling, filing, mailing, data entry, copying; Community outreach: Health fairs, screenings, education; Courier: Intensive Care Units, mail delivery, Medical Records, Pharmacy; Patient contact: Emergency Department, patient advocate, patient aide, patient transporter

Application process

You may receive an application and a current opportunities list by calling the Volunteer Services Department at 410-392-7019 or download an application. (Once you print the application, please complete it and submit it by mail to the address below or deliver it in person.) You will also need to make an appointment for an interview.
