Volunteers have been an integral part of the Queen's Medical Center for over 150 years. They provide invaluable services - never asking or expecting compensation. During an average month, over 300 volunteers give from their hearts to Queen's patients in 70 nursing units and departments. Application process
Minimum Volunteer Requirements Include: A commitment of at least 64 hours; A two step TB (tuberculosis) clearance; Attendance at an orientation session; Parental permission (if 15-18 years old); An agreement to serve with C.A.R.E. (Compassion, Aloha, Respect, and Excellence)

- I have experienced volunteer but not at queens hospital. But I have experience volunteer in helping my father with his job. He works as Mike's Transport, and I volunteer to help him take patient's to where they need to go either it's to their appointment or back home from their appointment. I help him load the patients and make sure that everything is locked so that they don't roll all around the place while the car is in motion and also I help him with taking the patient out of the car and to their appointments.
