Sutter Amador Hospital

Volunteer details

Sutter Amador Hospital currently has more than 100 Auxiliary members who dedicate more than 20,000 hours of service to hospital patients and staff each year. Not only do Auxiliary members volunteer their time, they also contribute financially to the hospital. Funds raised by the Auxiliary are returned to the hospital in the form of medical equipment or other materials needed for patient care services. Over the years, the Auxiliary has provided many scholarships to students pursuing careers in nursing and other clinical areas. Application process

All volunteers must submit an application, complete a drug screen and a tuberculosis test. Auxiliary dues are $10 per year.
