At St. Joseph's, St. Joseph’s Westgate and Barrow Neurological Institute, our goal is to provide quality healthcare to our patients. Our volunteers play a very important part in our healing ministry, assisting our staff and providing that "personal touch" to our patients. Our volunteers enjoy working side by side with our staff, developing camaraderie with other volunteers, and having a sense of pride as they donate their time to help others. Our volunteers represent all segments of our community. They range in age from 14 to 91 and come from all parts of the Valley. They reach out with their talent, skill, interest and compassion to help meet the needs of St. Joseph's and Barrow. Whatever the skill level, we have a place. It is our commitment to our community to support those interested in volunteering by finding a place for them to make a valuable contribution. Volunteer placements & services

Greet and assist patients, family members and visitors at our many information desks; Provide directional assistance to patients and escort them through the hospital; Visit with patients and family members throughout the hospital, providing support to nurses directly on patient care units; Assist with special events and special projects
