Saint Francis Healthcare initiated its Volunteer Program in 1985 for members of our community to provide support services to our patients and Colleagues while fulfilling personal goals. Since then, our volunteers have contributed countless hours in support of Saint Francis Healthcare’s mission of serving together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.

Application process
Volunteers must be dependable, mature and demonstrate a positive attitude. All Saint Francis Healthcare volunteers are oriented to hospital policies and procedures. The volunteer screening process consists of an interview, drug and TB testing, background checks, completion of reference forms and additional paperwork, and attendance at a volunteer orientation.
