Application process

Completely fill out the application then contact the volunteer office to set up a personal interview at 606.783.6517. Once your application has been received, your personal interview is conducted and references and criminal background have been checked, a health screening will be scheduled. The health screening includes a two-step TB skin test and urine drug screening. All volunteers are required to complete hospital safety training as well before they receive a volunteer placement and volunteer badge. Some volunteers assigned to specific departments will participate in a departmental orientation as well.
