The goal of our volunteers is to focus on improving what we call the "patient experience" - the way our patients and visitors are supported by the hospital for their medical care. Sparks Volunteers are a valuable part of our team, they give loving attention to our patients during their time here. Sparks Health System is looking for volunteers that are: Friendly, open and reliable; Compassionate and sensitive to persons and families facing a life threatening illness; Able to understand and adapt to different cultural, racial, spiritual and intellectual needs of a client and family members; 18 years of age and older. By becoming a volunteer at Sparks Health Systemm, you can enrich your life by "making a difference" in your community. The volunteers at Sparks graciously donate their time and energy into assisting our patients and staff. Depending on your interests and the needs of the facility, there are opportunities to volunteer in patient areas or in an office environment.
