Volunteer details

The Sonoma Valley Hospital Volunteer Program was founded in 1956 to provide non-medical services on a volunteer basis. We are goodwill ambassadors assisting hospital employees and patients. Chief among these are staffing the Information Desk that welcomes all visitors at the front door of the hospital; escorting patients to and from rooms and making deliveries to patient rooms. The Volunteer Program is a vital organization of volunteers who donated nearly 10,000 hours of their time last year. All of our volunteers feel rewarded with the sense of having given back in a meaningful way.
