Volunteering at Sequoia Hospital offers you opportunities to enrich your life by giving your time and talents in the service of others. Volunteers work in a variety of areas in the hospital. They meet others with similar interests and know they serve an important purpose in our community. Their presence adds humankindness to caring for patients and their loved ones. Hospitality - Welcome Desks; Gift Shop - Merchandising and Sales; Patient Services/Nursing Units; Physical/Occupational Therapy; ICU & Surgery Waiting Rooms; Emergency Department; Clerical; Breast and Diagnostic Center; Project Assignments
Requirements: 16 years of age or older; Must commit to 100 hours of service; Complete the application process, including an interview and background check; Review and sign the eligibility and requirements form; Review and sign the Authorization for Background Investigation form; Complete the Volunteer Personal Statement; Complete the Parental Consent form (16 to 18-year-olds); Attend orientation; Complete the two-step PPD, TDap vaccination, and Flu vaccination during the months of September through April.
