Make the difference and join our San Dimas Community Hospital team and be part of giving back to our community through our Volunteer Program! Our volunteers play a special role at our hospital in providing quality care to our patients. Volunteering can be a rewarding feeling in helping others as well as making the difference in others people's lives and our community.
Volunteer placements & services
Admitting; Dietary services; Emergency Room; Human Resources; Med Surg Telemetry; Medical Records; Perinatal; Administrative areas
Application process
Minimum Requirements to apply: Volunteer Application; Must be 16 years old or older to apply; Two references; Cover letter attached to application; Resume attached to application; Must attend orientation and bring photo ID (when selected). Requirements to Volunteer: (once selected): Dedicate a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer service; Commit to at least one shift per week for the same day, time and length; Attend Orientation; Complete TB testing, flu shot (Oct-March), and background check (over 18); Must be 16 years old or older to apply

I am a student with my AA degree trying to apply for a nursing program. I would like to volunteer at the hospital to gain experience in patient care and learn from the experience.
