Qualifications and Requirements for adult volunteers: Minimum age of 18; High school graduate or GED; Provide documentation of immunizations: MMR, Varicella (chicken pox), and Tdap; Have a listening ear and loving, caring heart; Have a desire to serve others; In good physical and mental health; Willing to make a time commitment averaging 4 hours per week for a minimum of 100 hours per assignment after onboarding; Agree to volunteer one day per week (same day, time, and area); Can abide by the policies and regulations of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Volunteer Services Department.
