Volunteer details

Volunteers at Texas Health Rockwall are dedicated men and women, teens through seniors, from all kinds of backgrounds who share a common desire to help others. Volunteers typically sign up for one three-hour shift each week and agree to an initial six-month commitment. We are excited to announce our plans to provide scholarships to Rockwall County high school seniors in the near future!A complimentary meal is also provided to volunteers while working at the hospital and volunteer achievements are recognized once a year with an awards dinner or luncheon.All volunteers must attend volunteer orientation and have an Employee Health Assessment completed prior to beginning volunteer placement. Training is provided for each placement area. Volunteer orientation is held once a month on the first Monday of the month, unless it falls on a holiday in which case it will be held on Tues.
