Volunteers at Piedmont are men and women, ranging in age from teens to senior citizens. They are students, homemakers, retirees as well as professionals with full- and part-time jobs interested in giving back to the community through volunteerism. Volunteers work in various departments in the hospital and have different kinds of responsibilities, such as escorting patients, or working in the various admitting departments helping families.
