Volunteer details

Piedmont Fayette Hospital's Auxiliary volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals that have contributed over 928,000 hours of service to our patients, families, staff and our community. The Auxiliary has also gifted wheelchairs, decor to beautify family waiting areas, cardiac monitoring equipment, as well as gardens and holiday decorations. In addition, the Auxiliary has most recently gifted the latest neonatal technology, a Giraffe OmniBed, which allows physicians and nurses to care for and monitor premature infants with minimal disturbance. Application process

Adult men and women, over 18 years of age, are invited to join our volunteer services at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Please print and complete the application and the background check authorization form. Two people who know you well, other than a relative, must complete the Personal Reference Forms. Mail completed application the address on the application. Once all documents have been received and the application is complete, you will receive a postcard in the mail. Your application may not be processed immediately. The Auxiliary office will contact you to schedule an interview as openings become available.
