OLBH offers a wonderful opportunity for community members to volunteer in assisting the hospital in fulfilling its ministry of healing. Hospital volunteers are an important part of the day-to-day activities and complement the services provided by the hospital's employees. Volunteering at OLBH provides a unique experience filled with fellowship, camaraderie and the satisfaction of providing good help to those in need. By volunteering at OLBH, you will not only be working to help your community but will be joining the hospital family and making OLBH connections with patients and staff. Thousands of hours are contributed each year by volunteers to assist patients and families at the hospital's information desk, in the OLBH Gift Shop and in various other hospital departments such as the surgical waiting area. Anyone 13 years or older can be a volunteer at OLBH. Applicants must complete an application, attend orientation and receive a TB skin test.
