The Auxiliary of Oroville Hospital was formed on November 11, 1967. It started with approximately 35 members, and Margaret Baker was elected the first president. The Oroville Junior Women’s Club was instrumental in starting the Auxiliary. Most of the Charter Members were from that group making donations to help start the organization. Over the years the Auxiliary has continued to expand to other areas of service. The Auxiliary is committed in fully supporting the programs and policies of Oroville Hospital, which is made possible by dedicated people working voluntarily for the welfare of the hospital, its patients, its visitors, and the surrounding communities. For more information about volunteer opportunities at this hospital, visit the Oroville Hospital volunteer website.
