Volunteers are one of Northwest Medical Center's most precious resources. Without volunteers we would find it difficult, if not impossible, to add those special touches our patients appreciate. By volunteering, you become an important and integral part of Northwest Medical Center. It's easy to begin as a volunteer. We offer a complete orientation program so you can learn about the hospital, the staff and areas where you can help. We train you before you begin and introduce you to our staff. Our volunteers are men and women who range from 16 to 85 years of age. There are students, retirees, singles, married couples, those who work full time and those who work occasionally. You can volunteer as little as four hours a week or as much as you would like. Once an assignment has been chosen, you can select the hours most convenient for you. There are many departments at Northwest Medical Center that would benefit from volunteers. Some departments deal with patients, while others do not. You decide where you want to be. Your skills and interests can be matched accordingly or you may want to learn a new skill, which we will teach you. For more information about volunteer opportunities at this hospital, visit the Northwest Medical Center volunteer website.
