All prospective volunteers should first complete and submit the Online Volunteer Application. After completing the appropriate forms, please call Volunteer Services at (727) 528-5959 to set up an interview. All volunteers must be tested for TB, and be immunized for influenza during flu season (generally October through the following March 31). A parent/guardian must accompany a minor to the interview. All interviews are conducted at the volunteer office located in the Medical Office Plaza at 6006 49th Street. N., Suite 350, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. Please note: interviews are only conducted on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The last interview of the day is scheduled for 3:30pm so that volunteers can have their TB test planted. They must return 48-72 hours to have their test read. So that you may plan accordingly, all volunteers are required to attend orientation which is always held on a Monday from 8am to 1:30pm.
