The North Texas Medical Center Auxiliary is a non-profit, volunteer agency dedicated to serving the needs of the hospital’s patients and staff. Functions of the auxiliary are broken into two basic categories: service and fundraising. Service includes the day-to-day activities of the auxiliary, such as manning the hospital information desk and surgical waiting area, providing refreshments to patients from a juice cart, delivering mail and flowers, assisting staff in the storeroom, accounts payable, data processing, medical records, cardiac rehab, nursery, Home Health and various other departments.
