They help the staff throughout the hospital with various tasks, greeting patients, visitors, and information. Volunteers help our hospital in many wonderful ways. North Metro Auxiliary is the volunteer program, at the hospital in jacksonville Ar. It is composed of local residents who freely donate their time for the benefit of the patients at north Metro medical Center. The Auxiliary has a gift shop located in the hospital in which is used to raise funds and vendor sales throughout the year as well. The funds are used for purchasing equipment and for a scholarship fund for students in the healthcare field.
