Volunteer details

Each day at National Park Medical Center, our volunteers play a vital role in the healing process of our patients. These special people freely offer their time in order to help others. They provide many extra services that allow our staff to focus on patient care. Since 1954, the NPMC Auxiliary has been serving National Park Medical Center and the local community. Last year alone, over 80 men and women dedicated their time to NPMC totaling over 20,000 hours of service. The volunteers who contribute so much of their time to the hospital and community offer an invaluable service. From welcoming patients to delivering flowers and patient newspapers, our volunteers take a special interest in the families, patients and employees of NPMC. In addition, the volunteers help acquire medicine for needy patients, car seats for new mothers, scholarships for employees and mailing supplies for the Charitable Christian Medical Clinic.
