Volunteer details

Our more than 1,000 volunteers work with patients, families and staff to create an environment of care and support by assisting clinical staff, providing directions, information and support to patients' families and visitors, stocking needed supplies, delivering flowers, working in one of our gift shops, or lending a hand with clerical duties. Volunteers generally work one four-hour shift per week. We also have volunteer opportunities through the Mount Carmel Hospice program.
