From greeting hospital patients as they walk through the door to raising money to enhance our facilities, the volunteers of Monroe Clinic play a crucial role in our daily operations.At Monroe Clinic, we recognize that our young people have so much to offer through their enthusiasm, compassion and volunteerism. During the summer months, area youth, ages 14 to 19, enjoy the skill-building opportunities and personal enrichment our volunteen program offers them.Our volunteers are active in many roles at Monroe Clinic. Some tasks include:
* escorting people to different areas
* delivering flowers
* assisting in event planning and fundraising efforts
* stocking shelves
* stuffing, sealing and labeling mail
* filing items, making copies, distributing magazines
* entering information into computers
* answering the telephone, making coffee
* giving directions to patients
