An MRH active volunteer is someone who devotes their time, skills and compassion in an effort to serve the hospital and the community. Active volunteers are not meant to replace staff but rather they are to engage in tasks or activities that support the staff and improve the patient experience. Volunteer placements & services

Answer telephone; Deliver flowers to patient rooms; Assistance with inventory; Office duties (sorting and delivering internal mail, filing, scanning); Greet patients and family members; Assist patients/family members/visitors with directions; Socialize with patients and/or visitors (play games, tell stories, etc.); Special projects; Volunteer with Hospital/Community events
