Volunteer details

The Mille Lacs Health System’s Auxiliary has been raising money for all areas of the health system since 2004. The Gift Shop located at the entrance of the hospital is staffed by volunteer Auxiliary members. It is this small shop that makes most of the profits that are contributed to Mille Lacs Health System and Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation. The group of over 30 volunteers has accomplished giving to help fund a cardiac monitor, ultrasound equipment, new ambulance, ER LUCAS Device, medical supplies, and wellness campaigns. They also host other types of fund raising during the year to increase their profit, including bake sales, purse sales, book sales and a sidewalk sale during Onamia days.
