Volunteer details

Our volunteer program offers men and women, ages 14 and up, a tremendous variety of opportunities for service to our hospitals, medical center and offsite locations. We offer you the satisfaction of helping others along with wonderful support from our staff. Volunteers are needed in areas that range from patient and family contact, such as staffing waiting rooms, escorting or instruction; to clerical such as typing and filing; to customer service in gift shops and retail stores; to working at home on projects, such as sewing. Volunteer assignments can be arranged on a schedule that suits you. Volunteers' commitments range from daily to once a year. Application process

Requirements to becoming a volunteer: 1. Have a desire to help and become a part of our health care team. 2. Complete a volunteer application (including contact information for 3 personal references). 3. Complete a simple health screening at no cost to you. A seasonal flu vaccine is required. 4. Pass a criminal background and dependent adult/child abuse registry check. 5. Attend a placement interview/orientation session. 6. Complete necessary training.
