If you have time which you would like to fill with a worthwhile experience, Mercy Medical Center’s Volunteer Department may have something for you. Mercy Medical Center volunteers are a dedicated, caring and diverse group of individuals who offer their time and talents in a manner that reflects the hospital’s mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy. Clinical departments such as the Emergency Department, Outpatient Chemotherapy, Physical Therapy and Surgery Centers; Inpatient Medical/Surgical Floors; Administrative offices, the information desk, and gift shops
The first step is to review our requirements which include: Must be 16 years of age or older; Must agree to a background check; Must provide basic health information; Must be able to commit to 3-4 hours per week; Must attend orientation and training; Must complete an application and orientation packet. Completed applications can be emailed to: volunteers@mdmercy.com OR mailed to: Volunteer Office c/o Mercy Medical Center, 301 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD 21202. Once the application is received, you will be contacted to schedule an in-person interview with a member of our staff.
