We depend on volunteers to provide assistance for patients, families and hospital staff. Application process

Must be at least 14 years of age to apply. Complete an online application. Adult and junior volunteers are required to submit the orientation packet, which must be brought back with you to orientation (orientations are every other month, and you will receive an email notification two weeks prior). Read the online Volunteer Handbook, print the last two pages, answering the handbook questions and signing the acknowledgment. All forms must be brought with you on the day you attend orientation. Have a two (2) step TB test administered at Employee Health with required follow-up visits. Junior volunteers must have a parent or guardian present for the first placement. Undergo a criminal background check (adult volunteers only). Adhere to all Memorial Hospital policies, procedures and standards of performance.
