Volunteer details
The volunteers at Manatee Memorial Hospital provide an immeasurable service to our patients and their families. Hospital volunteers serve in more than 50 different areas in a variety of capacities. Manatee Memorial truly appreciates volunteers and recognizes their hard work in many ways, including a special Volunteer Week held each year. The staff is eager to train volunteers in a variety of tasks needed at the hospital and at our affiliate locations. All volunteers receive a thorough orientation about the hospital as part of their training. We also offer a Summer Teen Volunteer Program for teens between the ages of 15 and 18.. Hello,
I would like to volunteer at Manatee Memorial Hospital and work with patients in some capacity that would be appropriate. I've heard of positions where you may sit with them, read to them, or keep them company in some other way. I am open to other volunteer positions and would love to hear back from you.
I am a high school technology teacher and teach digital arts. I am proficient and certified in Adobe applications as well as Microsoft Office. I'm available evenings and weekends.
