Every year, Major Health Partners volunteers provide more than 20,000 hours of service. Whether young in age or young at heart, MHP volunteers share their hearts and talents in service to the hospital, its patients, visitors and guests - no matter where they are working! Some volunteers work with patients in one or more of the patient care service areas, providing great customer service to visitors and guests in our gift shop, or work in support of hospital staff in a variety of clerical services. Our volunteers truly bring an added measure of quality to MHP's commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Our dedicated volunteers contributed their time to provide our patients and families with comfort and assistance. There is no gift more generous, more touching or more appreciated than the gift of your time. Volunteer placements & services

Transporting labs, patients, and flowers; Provide office assistance; Greet and serve as wayfinders; Assist in special projects; Work in our Gift Shop; Volunteer in various capacities at one of our offsite campus

Application process

Obtain 2 tuberculosis tests (provided at no charge); Sign a confidentiality agreement; Obtain parent consent (if you are under 18); Receive a flu shot during flu season (provided at no charge); Consent to a criminal background check; Attend a training session
