This organization was established in November of 1962 with the intent of raising funds to support miscellaneous health related needs that benefit the patients of Lost Rivers Medical Center. All members donate their time, service and talents. One of the Auxiliary’s highlights is coordinating and sponsoring the annual “Festival of Trees” which takes place every year in either late November or early December. Comprised of various crafters and artisans, the items they sell at this event presents a wonderful opportunity for attendees to do their holiday shopping. Proceeds from booth rentals, entry tickets and the purchase of donated and beautifully decorated Christmas trees makes it possible for the Auxiliary to donate funds which have been used to purchase hospice beds and other items that improve the overall experience of those using the services of Lost Rivers Medical Center.
