Volunteers play a vital role at MetroWest Medical Center. We have more than 200 caring volunteers at Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital supporting staff in various departments throughout the hospital. Volunteer placements & services

Assisting with clerical and receptionist tasks, Refreshing water pitchers for patients, Running errands, General help on units and in various departments

Application process

MetroWest Medical Center volunteers are required to commit to four hours per week for six months. They also are required to have two tuberculosis screenings, administered in our Employee Health office, and to produce a health record from a primary care physician showing proof of immunizations.
