McLaren Lapeer Region volunteers offer a caring word and support for patients, visitors and hospital staff. There are over 100 volunteers at the medical center who contribute more than 20,000 hours of service annually. These volunteers work in the many areas including the gift shop, waiting areas and patient transportation. Application process

After completing the volunteer application, you may be contacted for an interview. Once the interview process is complete you will be scheduled for Hospital Orientation and a TB (tuberculosis) Test. As a healthcare facility we take safety, patient confidentiality, dress code, and conduct seriously, all of which will be discussed and reviewed during orientation. Lunch will also be provided at orientation and we ask that you dress business casual (no jeans)
