Lakeview Hospital offers a variety of volunteer opportunities and a friendly, caring work environment. Most volunteers work one 4-hour shift a week. Because of hospital screening and training requirements, we ask most volunteers to make a 6-month minimum commitment.We are seeking compassionate, active people who wish to support our mission to improve the health and well-being of those we serve. Application process

1. Complete the online volunteer application. 2. After receiving the application, the volunteer coordinator will contact you. If your skills and availability meet a need at the hospital, an interview will be scheduled. You will need to bring a letter of reference from someone who is not a family member. 3. If selected for a volunteer position, you will meet with a nurse for a brief health screening. This will include a review of your immunizations and a blood test for TB. In some cases, additional screening may be needed. 4. A criminal background check will be conducted if you are over 18. 5. Attend hospital orientation. After attending orientation, you will begin training for your specific volunteer position.
