KMC volunteers perticipate in more than 100 job classifications with varying time commitments and schedules. Assignments include areas of patients care,escorting,receptionist,office assisting,community services, gift shop and patient and family services.Volunteers also coordinate in collating,folding,taping and zipcoding pieces of outgoing mail for the medical center,brighten patients' days by bringing them flowers and mail from their friends and relativesn discharge patients from the hospital or wheel them from their rooms to appointments in the hospital or inspect baby caps knitted by volunteers for new mothers.
