Volunteer details

The Kern Valley Healthcare District Hospital Auxiliary is an all volunteer organization. The Auxiliary operates the Kern Valley Hospital Gift Shop located in the lobby of the Hospital in Mt. Mesa and also the Kern Valley Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store at 6701 Lake Isabella Blvd, hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:45 pm and Saturday’s 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. In the hospital the Auxiliary volunteers help with a range of duties like escorting Patient’s as required by wheelchair, writing or reading letters for Patients, filling ice buckets, filing for offices, Answering telephones in the lobby, running errands for medical personnel/management, working the information desk located in the lobby.
