At Jane Phillips Medical Center, our volunteers are exceptional individuals who take the extra steps that make a difference in another person's life. They help in countless ways by making a child giggle or an older person smile. They deliver mail and flowers to hospitalized patients. They comfort families who are worried about loved ones. Through deeds, large and small, volunteers help patients and their families to feel better during difficult times. In addition to helping care for our patients, volunteers greet visitors at the reception desk, staff the gift shop, deliver medications to the nursing units, provide the Children's Day program to area kindergarten classes, and assist with a variety of clerical duties in various departments throughout the medical center.
