There are over 400 active volunteers who help patients, visitors, and staff each day. Volunteers are people of all ages, from all walks of life, both men and women, who enjoy being of service and helping others.Some of the various areas and job duties to volunteer are: Providing helpful information and directions to families and visitors, Assisting in the Gift Shop, Providing support for Critical Care and Emergency Department families, Providing spiritual support, Assisting nursing staff with patient care, Escorting patients,Delivering cards and flowers,Providing a smile and lending an ear to the lonely, Providing clerical support.
