Application process

All prospective volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application Form, authorize a background check providing references. Once your completed application and references have been received, your application is processed. If it is determined that we are able to match your skills and availability with our volunteer needs, you will be contacted to schedule a placement interview. During the interview, the Volunteer Coordinator discusses your motivation for volunteering, your past volunteer and work experience and your areas of interest for volunteer service and will assist you in selecting a volunteer placement. All volunteers must attend orientation and have a TB test prior to beginning volunteer placement. Please contact Volunteer Services to schedule your orientation. Training is provided for each placement area.
