Volunteer details

Members of Huntington Beach Hospital’s Silver Anchor Auxiliary perform various service related duties for patients and hospital staff. They play an important part in the day-to-day operation of the hospital. Auxiliary members deliver flowers and mail to patients, deliver and pick up menus, take patients to their rooms, deliver pharmacy supplies, and assist with transporting patients upon discharge. Auxiliary members staff the Information Desk in the main lobby and work in the Gift Shop. Either a morning shift, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., an afternoon shift, 1 to 5 p.m., or an evening shift, 5 to 8 p.m. is available Monday through Friday. If you are a resident of the communities we serve and over 21 years of age, you may volunteer at Huntington Beach Hospital.
