Harrison has an integrated volunteer program, placing volunteers in many areas of the Medical Center, including both clinical and non-clinical settings. Volunteer Requirements
* Must be at least 14-years-old *Some departments have age restrictions that may not allow teens 18 years and younger.
* Must be able to make a weekly commitment for at least six months
Examples of volunteer roles:
* Clerical support for clinical and non-clinical areas
* Lobby hosts, desk greeters, and escorts
* Complementary therapies like hand massage, music, etc.
* Nursing unit support
* Environmental services support (shred and recycle pick up)
* Special project volunteers
* Spiritual care
