Good Samaritan Hospital has many opportunities to serve the community. The Auxiliary is our volunteer organization, and the Auxiliary's purpose is to provide assistance wherever needed in the hospital. We do not perform medical or nursing duties. Instead, our dedicated volunteers bring an extra touch of friendliness and comfort to the patients and visitors of Good Samaritan. No special skills are required, though they are appreciated. We work with our volunteers so that their assignments closely match interests, skills, and experience. Most volunteers come in once a week for 3-4 hours; a minimum of 1 year of service is required. Our wide range of placements and shifts ensure we can arrange a volunteer schedule that's convenient for you whether you prefer week day mornings or an evening or the weekend.
