Volunteers are at the heart of the medical center, enhancing the atmosphere of care and concern for patients and their families. FHMC volunteers range in age from 16 to retired seniors. Junior Volunteers are required to make a minimum time commitment of 125 total hours and Adults (age 18+) a total of 200 hours, each category donating at least 4 to 8 hours per week for at least three months.
