Volunteer details

The Fairchild Medical Center (FMC) Auxiliary was organized over thirty-five (35) years ago for the purpose of promoting and advancing the welfare of FMC by assisting patients and hospital personnel, developing good public relations and providing equipment for FMC through its fundraising activities. As operating margins continue to shrink, health care institutions increasingly turn to organizations (guilds, auxiliaries and foundations) to provide the resources necessary for continued growth and quality patient care in an ever changing health care environment. Since its inception, the FMC Auxiliary has provided over 450,000 hours of volunteer services and has provided funds to Fairchild Medical Center for the purchase of much needed equipment. In addition, each year the Auxiliary offers scholarships to high school graduates planning a career in healthcare fields.
